Miracle Monday - Baby Grace Update

Welcome to another edition of Miracle Monday!

I would like to thank everyone for their kind words last week. It is nice to know that even though I am not getting a lot of miracles each week, the ones that are being written about and linked back here, are inspiring to those that visit.

This week I would like to give an update on Baby Gracie. Gracie's mom, Amanda, posted this timeline on their Caringbridge site highlighting all of the medical ups and downs of Gracie's life.

Through all of this they have not lost their faith in God and to me, that is a miracle in itself! Notice at the bottom, Amanda calls Gracie's life "112 days of MIRACLES"! I would agree!

My nephew was born with a heart defect and had open heart surgery when he was 3 weeks old. It was a rough start for Asa and it was thought that he would have to live with a pace maker the rest of his life.

But not so. Asa will soon be 4 and is without a pace maker. Other than the scar down his chest, no signs of any heart defect.

God is truly Amazing!

I will be praying for baby Gracie.

I linked to a miracle for us. I posted it a couple weeks ago, but we are still rejoicing in it. Thanks for Miracle Monday.

Grace is such a fighter. I used to work with cardiac infants for years in the NICU, and I can only imagine the heart-break and helplessness. My thoughts and prayers are with her.
