Is it Labor Day yet?

Summer vacation officially started for us yesterday when Peter's school let out at 12:00.

We were at the swimming pool by 1:00.

We were home by 4:30.

And by 5:30 both kids let me know that they were bored.

I think it's going to be a looooooooong summer.

That sounds like our kids. The first day that they got out of school, we went to the beach and had a bbq, and instead of saying "that was fun" when we got home, they said "what are we going to do tommorrow?". Kids. :)

Don't even get me started! I knew how bad this was going to be based on those snow days we had. Come on end of August!

I know what you mean. We have been swimming, to the movies, the park, finger painted, baseball, baseball, did I mention baseball? And still they are bored. At least this week R4 is at the lake with my in-laws and he is having the time of his life!

I'm sure there are all manner of chores and housework you could help them be not-bored with. ;) Rule at my Grama's (and really with my mom) is that if you're bored you get to do work. I bet they'll be un-bored real quick once they catch on ;)
