Now she knows. Because I've told her like a million times already.

Last week, I was bemoaning the fact that Sarah felt like I didn't love her or at least didn't love her as much as everyone else.

So I spent the better part of last week telling her I loved her. At every turn, I was saying I love you. And if she asked me if I loved her more, my response was always Yes! I do!

On Saturday afternoon, I had just set her up at the computer to put crossword puzzles together on Jigzone and she curtly told me to leave the room while she played. As I was leaving the room, I said, "I love you Sarah."

And she replied with exasperation, "Mom, I know. You've told me like a million times already." (This quote is verbatim. I wrote it down so I wouldn't forget the exact words she used.)

If she sounds like this now at 3 and a half, how is she going to sound when she's 13?

YEAH!!! I'm so glad she is annoyed that her mom has such an overwhelming love for you.

Better to have her thinking that way than that you don't love her enough right???

Praise God.

oooppps. Clearly I meant, "Her mom has such an overwhelming love for HER"...

I should make a rule that I don't blog till after my first cup of coffee.

Hi, Beth. I just found your blog last week and I'm so glad I did... I've really enjoyed my visits.

I get this same thing from my oldest. He'll complain that I love his sister more than I do him, but when I tell him how much I do love him, he replies (in a somewhat tired voice that includes the rolling of eyes), "Yea, Mom.. I know you love me all the way to the moon and back." While I'm glad he knows that, I sure wish he'd remember it when he is so convinced he's being slighted in favor of his sister. :)

Little Man my 2 year old said to me the other day.."No mommy no kiss me no more" LOL guess I was giving him a few too many kisses.

It doesn't hurt for her to know this. I know that some kids are never told this. It will make a difference in her life.

LOL! That is too funny :) They can be so honest can't they? No worries, she'll surely appreciate it later.

Sometimes I think our children are wiser than we think!

You must be doing something (a lot) right!
