I started this blog to capture the funny, sweet, gross, irritating things my kids were doing and saying.
I also started it because deep down, I think I have always wanted to be a writer. Just as I have always felt that one day I would be a famous actress (even though I only performed in one high school play), I have also always felt that one day I would write the great American novel (please see #48 for brief description of my one and only pathetic attempt.)
These dreams haven't come to fruition yet and most likely never will but, BUT, thanks to Blurb, I will have a chance to become a "published" author. The fine folks at Blurb will transform all of my blog posts into a book.
A book! Written by me! It looks so easy and so affordable that I will be able to print one for myself and one for each of my kids so that when they are older they can read all about the things they said to their poor Mommy when they were younger.
It may not be the great American novel but it will be my great American novel.

I heard about this. It sounds great!
Good idea! It would be a shame not to have all your stories chronicled in print and not just floating around in cyberspace!
And you never know . . . you may write a book one of these days! Don't give up on your dream. :)
I've had this site bookmarked for a while - I was trying to figure out which posts to put in it!
What a darling idea. I need to do that with Bean's pregnancy blog, and then Peanut's! Perfect! :)
So cool! I have always wanted to write a book. Probably never will though, not creative enough.
I'll be waiting for yours though!
I did a post about that too when I found out about it! How brilliant is that?? I'll buy your book if you buy mine. :)
Ooh, ooh, ooh!
Thank you, thank you, thank you for this link.
I have been looking for something like this to put my stories and pictures in print for my girls to enjoy someday.
What a great service!!!! And what a wonderful keepsake for the kids. Your books would be wonderful.
I started blogging for pretty much the same reason. I should take a look at it too!
That sounds very cool! Congratulations. I think it's a great momento and a wonderful idea.
