What I Wore Sunday

In an attempt to get back to normal around here, I thought I would post for What I Wore Sunday.

But, before I do, I'd like to complain a little bit. (Just a little.)

There.  That feels better.

With that said, here's what I wore to Mass this morning.

Dress:  Liz Lange Maternity/Target
Jacket:  Walmart
Shoes: Kohls

I hope you like this outfit because I've got a feeling I am going to be wearing this maternity dress to Mass for the next several weeks.  But don't worry, I'll try to accessorize it differently every week so it will look like a completely different gigantic outfit.

I gained 60 pounds with this pregnancy and over the last 17 days managed to get rid of 36 of them.  Unfortunately, that still leaves me with 24 more pounds than I started with and unfortunately, I don't think those are going anywhere with out dieting and exercising.  Blech.
Head on over to Fine Linen and Purple to check out what everyone else wore to Mass today.

Beth, go easy on yourself. You look beautiful and your efforts to dress up and put on a smile are remarkable and to be commended. May you feel God's Divine Mercy on this day and the prayers of our two newest saints, in addition to all of ours. God bless you and yours. xoxo

You look really do! And, defintiely go easy on yourself when it comes to diet and exercise. You're only about 2.5 weeks out from giving birth, right? I bet the rest of the weight does come off slowly, over time.

I agree with Lauren and Amelia.
You look fantastic and give yourself some time. It always takes awhile to lose the weight.

I know that you don't know my opinion hardly matters, but your dress looks very nice and I bet there is a lot that you can do with it. I hope you are able to reach the weight you desire without too much struggle. I myself am working on losing 20 pound so I feel for you.

Dealing with a postpartum body is a bit depressing, even when you have a sweet newborn in your arms. I imagine it is so much more difficult when you are left with a flabby tummy and empty arms. My heart goes out to you. I am praying for you. Be kind to yourself and give your body time to recover.

I think you look great….and you've already made such a dent in the gain! Take it easy my friend….remember the rule. One year to lose it. Or two if that makes you feel better.
Oh, that was my rule.

You look beautiful! Take it one day at a time. You are a grieving Mama. the weight will come off in time. Take a deep breath and just try and keep pace with what you and your family needs right now. Blessings and Prayers this day and always.
