Christmas 2008 - A Brief Summary

One 15 hour drive, two kids that caught the stomach virus that was going around, one mom that caught the stomach virus that was going around, 12 inches of snow later and finally we were able to enjoy Christmas Day!

The kids were excited to have a white Christmas and were over their stomach troubles just in time to do some sledding and make a few snow angels before the warmer weather came to start the melting process.

They have enjoyed all of the attention and love from family members they only get to see a few times a year and of course, the presents! They both seemed pleased and thankful for everything they received.

All in all, Christmas 2008 was a success.

Hope yours was wonderful too!

Wow- that is quite a drive, especially when stomach flu is involved. The things we do to give our kids a magical Christmas! Glad it was a good one!

Glad you had a great time, even though you got the stomach bug. A white Christmas sounds like fun. We had to settle for watching the movie ;)

Have a great week my friend!

As you so wonderfully wrote in your last post, thank God for the peace, joy and love that comes from Christ. With that knowledge, even in the midst of stomach bugs and snow storms, Christmas time is so very blessed. Glad it was a success!
