Check out the creepy look on the little girl's face.
I figured that any product that can elicit looks like these from the child actors must be a horrible product.
Either that or they are horrible actors.
So I checked the online reviews for this product and found out that the majority of the reviewers hate it because it does not work.
Even the actors knew this toy was a bust.
I just wonder how much the actors got paid for those horrible faces? Because my kids would be great at that!
Just look at the shot I snapped a couple of weeks ago when I was trying to take their picture for the Christmas card...
I think we have the fake overly excited look and creepy grin down pat!
Wonder if Crayola needs face models for any other bad products? My kids may have found their calling.
****Edited***** Just found out from BlondeMom Jaime that there is a blog carnival of bad Christmas card out takes being hosted by DesignHer Momma. It's a giveaway so I'm in! Go check her out.

Hil.ar.i.ous. Your kids are too cute. Way too cute for Crayola. :)
Awww! Your kids are adorable!
I have a few of those funny pics from this year too. My youngest is into making silly faces for pictures now. Thank goodness for digital! :)
That boy does have a fake look and the girl's look is creepy -- ick! Certainly doesn't make ya wanna buy it does it?
NOW, put your cute kids on the box (creepy and fake look and all) and I'd buy that product!
That is a riot. Those kids are too funny on that box. Kinda scary too.
OMGosh, that is hysterical. I am cracking up at that boys face. Too funny. Let me know if Crayola gives you a call:)
your kids are so cute- maybe the product would have faired better if they were on the box!
That is hilarious!

It is my belief that the fastest way to put you OUT of the holiday spirit is to do a Christmas Card Photo Shoot! Last year, I got the kids dressed up in matching outfits, set them in front of the tree, and we all ended up in tears!
love it! Thanks for entering....great shot!!!
That is beyond hilarious. Oh so CUTE they are Beth!
Funny! I love that picture - what fun kids!
You are too funny Beth.
You kids are a natural at that!
LOL! We live near the Crayola factory, so our area is the test market for lots of their "new" stuff. Sometimes it's better to quit when you're ahead. Crayons are fun, markers are great, why do we need a sparkle cutter? :)
that "toy" cover IS creepy! Your kids looks so funny- you definetly need to enter that contest.
who the H makes a toy called "Cutter"???? It needs a disclaimer that it isn't recommended for children experiencing family turmoil or with a history of eating disorders...
What was Crayola thinking when they went with that picture.
I would love it if you used that picture of Sarah and Peter on your Christmas cards.
I'm with Becca. I would never buy my child anything called Cutter. Bad marketing from the get-go.
I would totally love getting goofy pictures in my Christmas cards. That's when they're really showing their personalities. My kids never sat quietly, dressed in holiday finery, with perfect serene smiles on their faces! I say go with the funny shots.
Very funny about that product and those kids...loved your photo...send it to them! : )
I read on down your blog and will be praying for Maggie...my heart broke as I read that post. I just lost a friend (32) to cancer this yr...she has 2 little children...my friend keeps them now while dad works.
Come on over to mama's porch and sit a spell...
Bless...Shell
ROFL!!! I saw that at Toys r Us last weekend. I didn't even notice their expressions. That is hilarious.
LOVE your kids faces :)
Ha! I think that's the craziest product picture I've ever seen...and your kids are hilarious!!
I love this, your kids are so cute.
Haha, the name is kind of bizarre. Your kids could totally do the modeling for that.
