Bozo - 1, Mommy - 0

Sarah loves to wear make-up. Applying make-up before we go out is one of her favorite past times. Actually applying make-up for no reason at all throughout the day is one of her favorite past times.

I have had multiple conversations with her about the amount of make-up she should wear. So she completely understands that wearing too much make-up will make her look like a clown.

I've even told her very pointedly, "You don't want to wear too much make-up because you will look like a clown."

Yet she continues to come downstairs looking like this:

What is it with these little girls of ours!?!? (did you see my Wordless Wednesday!?)

I love that they KNOW they are beautiful no matter what...

Oh, this picture is adorable...a beautiful moment that you'll giggle about together but treasure when she's older!

Oh, this totally cracks me up. Katie does the same thing - and I tell her the same thing you tell your daughter.

I am trying also to tell my Hannah about makeup she's 4. She only sees me wearing it. I have just realized that I will have my hands full.

You do too I might add.

My little one has that same dress! And the same taste in makeup, too.

Maybe this way they will get it out of their systems before they are teenagers.

I LOVE that picture because my little girl does the same thing.

Does this say something for the way we wear our makeup, that they leave the mirror thinking they look beautiful and like mommy? :)

So funny! My girl likes to add mascara to the mix too!

No matter how many times I tell my daughter that blush is just for the cheeks, she still puts it all over her face. And ears. It's hilariuos. Since she's only four, I'm hoping we have a bit of time to work on proper makeup application.

oh what a precious makeup job! I have to admit, other than being a guy and not wearing makeup, this is one of the reasons I don't wear makeup.

Now I know why I may only ever parent boys.

I would have zero clue how to react to that.

Oh, Beth! That's just too cute!

someday, she'll decide it is NOT attractive to look like a clown... keep this picture for the slideshow at her wedding, for sure.
