Compliments are nice, but Godiva is nicer!

Sarah has her first little crush and I say this none to proudly because it didn't take much to turn her head. At Peter's birthday party, his friend Thomas said Sarah is pretty. Sarah giggled and batted her eyelashes and I think even blushed a little.

Is it even possible for a 3 year old to blush?

After the boys left the next day, Sarah said several times very emphatically I miss Thomas. She even said Thomas is nice and batted her eyelashes a few more times.

I've got to explain to her that compliments are nice...but she should at least hold out for chocolate!

OK, should I be worried here? We may have trouble there are at least two other little girls at preschool. Thomas has been taking them snackie cakes to lunch bunch. Thomas is not into Chocolate as much as the all mighty snackie cake.

Wellll, I guess a snack cake is better than nothing...as long as it's a chocolate snack cake!

Chocolate's yummy and important, no doubt but I think she should hold out for a man who can make her laugh til her milk comes out her nose. To me, that's when you know you've found a keeper!

You mean to tell me my beautiful, funny, smart, precocious and charming niece has COMPETITION?!?!? Competition from two little girls who like snackie cakes and don't hold out for Godiva, or at last homemade stollen?!?!?
