Here it is from another angle...
And what is it, you might ask?
Well, let me show you...
It is a turkey that Sarah made in preschool last year. After I left her room last night, she lovingly placed the pillow beside her bed. She gently placed the turkey on top of the pillow and delicately covered it with a Kleenex.
Who needs 37 baby dolls and doll accessories when you have a paper turkey and a tissue?
And Sarah calls this turkey a chicken. She's been calling it a chicken since she made it last year.
I guess she has a touch of poultry confusion!

Here she is in a picture I took of her yesterday afternoon.
Yes, it's mid-October and she's wearing a sundress. But it was in the high 70's here yesterday and it's going to be in the mid 80's today.
If it wasn't for the skeleton hanging in my house, I would think it was July!
Sundresses, skeletons, and turkeys...just another day!

has she discovered american girl doll yet? my sweet mady has and that's all she talks about.
Sarah and my Abby would get along wonderfully... I find all sorts of toys, crafts projects, etc, covered up with blankets and pillows just like baby dolls! :)
Have a great day!
At least she's being festive for the upcoming holidays!
Isn't this always how it goes? Gabi has a ton of dolls and stuffed animals, but it's the toilet paper tube with a drawn on face that gets all the loving attention.
What a nice Turkey. lol So cute!
Isn't that too sweet. She made it and she loves it. What a doll.
And I'm with you with the heat. Enough already.
She is so cute.
My Daughter had a rock she called Baby Alice. She took it everywhere--even the bathtub.
I love the baby turkey(or chicken), Sarah is too sweet.
Very funny...kids play with some of the funniest things...that cost the least! :)
And we're still wearing sundresses over here, too!
That is so sweet. Talk about maternal instincts.
It never ceases to amaze me as to what becomes important to a child. It's usually the simplest things! It was warm here today also. I would love to say I want it to cool down, but I don't want it to get too cold. So, I won't say it!
That is so funny!! my charge has been playing with a cardboard guitar that his older sister made him since the beginning of September. He NEVER plays with anything else:) I am right there with you!!

that pillow would match my lamp perfectly! lol
She's a doll. Sarah & my Goosey would get along fabulously, I tell you!
My girls are always covering something up with a little blanky. The other day they put the Remote "to bed". Girls and their imaginations :)
I love it! She is creative.
that is a big concoction of fall and summer!

Kinda how they love the boxes that gifts come in - sometimes more than the gift itself!
Gotta love creativity!! :) My son for awhile carried around cloth napkins like they were his best friends. Go figure. (and he's only 16 months old!)
That is precious. She is going to be such a great little mom. Chicken? That is priceless!
Haha, that's too cute. :)
I live in Southern California and it's been really hot here too, it was 90 today!
That's adorable.
My kids were in SWIMSUITS on Wednesday! CUH-raziness!!!

Found you from He and Me+3...love your heart for the Lord! This post cracked me up! I have 5 boys and a little girl...and I am amazed at how innate the nurturing is for little girls...they just need to mother...and will mother anything! :) Too cute.
Love in Christ,Stacy
Sun dresses in October??? Not fair. I didn't even get to do that in July.
Oh bless her little chicken. Seriously these kids don't need all the toys we buy do they?
That is so sweet that she put her turkey chicken down for a nap. And you have no idea how badly I want your weather!!! *sigh* enjoy!!!!
