Gracie Jean Lockyer passed away this morning at 8:08.
The family has asked that we not be saddened but to join them in rejoicing because Gracie is in heaven. Gracie has finally made it home.
Thanks to everyone who prayed for Gracie and her family. Please continue to keep them in your prayers.
If you would like, you can leave them a message in the guest book at the CaringBridge site.

Praying for God to greatly comfort this family.
I know there is another angel in heaven, but I can't seem to stop the tears....
Thank you for keeping us posted on this beautiful family.
Bless their hearts...
Thanks Beth. Thanks for keeping us all updated.
KEEP BELIEVING
i can't help but be sad for the family. i know she's in a better place...a place that she belongs, but, man, i will keep them in my thoughts and prayers.
thanks for letting us all get to know them and for keeping us updated!
I was really praying for this little one. You know, I really applaud the family for giving her a fighting chance!
Praise the Lord, she's home! :)
I'm sure she was greeted by our lovely angels up there, including those of my close friend Bee who's lost several people in the past year.
I pray for the family, may God give peace and comfort.
thank you Beth.
I can't stop crying. My heart just aches. I know she is in a better place but she was a little angel, ya know. I'll be praying that the Lord provides the family with peace and strength.
I'm am so sad for Todd & Amanda & Haddon. But they have such a beautiful testimony and they are so strong. I am praying for peace for them.
I had to wait a day to comment because this did really upset me. I also just wanted to thank you for bringing this sweet family into our lives and keeping us updated.
Gracie sure did put up a fight, but I am glad she is home at last. I am saddened for her family as I know she will be missed.
What a blessing that Gracie's parents know she is with our Heavenly Father. Sending prayers to them.
Beth,
As I was searching for a pirate birthday cake idea for my son's 3rd birthday party, I stumbled upon your blog. As I looked to see just who it was that made this cake, I realized that we have more than pirates in common. My family too has been impacted by MS. My mother passed away in April from 'complications of MS'. I also have an uncle who passed away from MS, and 4 other aunts and uncles who have MS as well. Then as I continued to read, I saw your post about Gracie. Again- another connection. I have an 8 month old who has HLHS. Although this family has strong faith, my heart does ache for them. This is the 2nd such 'connection' of MS and HLHS I have found while researching online for support/information for HLHS. God works in many wonderful ways. Our local family support group lost one of our kiddos in September while he waited for his gift of a new heart. His name is Daxx and I'm sure he and Gracie will be great friends. Although her faith is strong, his mommy is having a hard time as she misses him dearly. We will add Gracie's family to our list of prayers, that they may find comfort in the days and months ahead.
