So glad he was wearing bright orange!

A couple of weekends ago, Dan and Peter went on a hike with his Cub Scout Den.  Unfortunately, only 3 boys were able to go but that worked out just great.  Peter is much more comfortable in smaller groups and I think the boys and the dads had a really good morning.

They headed to Hanging Rock early and got there before the crowds.  There was an eerie haze over the mountain which Peter said made it look really cool.

And I would have to agree.  Check out these pictures my husband took with his iPhone.

 Peter wanted this one taken specifically so he could do his Napoleon Bonaparte impersonation.

I love how this tree has grown. Makes the perfect picture frame!

Yes, orange was a great color choice for a hazy hike.
