Peter's First Holy Communion in Pictures

Peter celebrated his First Holy Communion on Sunday. He was excited and nervous!

We weren't allowed to take pictures during the ceremony but I will have professional photographs soon. I can't wait to see how they turned out.

There were 108 2nd graders receiving first communion and our church was packed - standing room only!

As Peter was processing into the church, he turned and looked over at us and smiled and waved. I wish I had a video to capture that moment. He looked so grown up and yet so small all at the same time.

The service was beautiful.  The choir sounded wonderful.  The homily was perfect.  And the kids looked so angelic as they were receiving Jesus for the first time!

After Mass we all went to a local restaurant for lunch and then heading back to my mom's house for dessert and presents.

Here are a few of the pictures.

So handsome in his coat and tie!

The whole family before heading to church!

Aren't they cute in their matching outfits?!

Peter kept wanting to hold his jacket like Abraham Lincoln.

We all went out to lunch after the service.

I was trying to guess the restaurant...and I was right! It is one of my favorite restaurants and I love eating there. It is the perfect place for a special occasion. Glad you had a happy day with your family.
