Rosie is hosting What I Wore Sunday so I thought I'd play along today.
Here's what I wore to Mass today:
Details:
Sweater - Targert (Clearance rack for the win!!)
Cords - The Loft
Booties - Target
Necklace - Kohls
It is actually quite warm here today so this sweater was overkill but in my defense, I didn't realize how warm it was until I got outside! Oh well.
And here's what the fashionista of the family wore today:
Details:
Sweater - Kohls
Dress - Kohls (last year - she dug deep into her closet and pulled the dress out and paired it with the sweater. )
Jeggings - Target
Boots - Target
And isn't her hair just the cutest? She watched a tutorial on how to make curls with no heat and I think it turned out great!!!
Don't forget to head over to Rosie's place for more What I Wore Sunday!

What I Wore Sunday and What I Did Sunday. Two for the price of one!
Our Easter didn't start off quite as expected. On his way up to bed Saturday night, Dan twisted and sprained his ankle and it was swollen to at least twice it's size.
Luckily Jennifer had a pair of crutches and Dan was able to make it to Mass. He could put absolutely no weight on his foot so without those crutches he couldn't have made it. It's his right foot too, so I even had to drive him to work this morning.
Here's What I Wore Sunday:
Outfit Deets:
Blazer - Kohls
Tee-Shirt - Target
Skirt - Target
Shoes - Target
Necklace - Kohls
Head on over to Fine Linen and Purple to see what everyone else was wearing.

We had a lovely Easter and I hope that you did too!

And here are my little cuties:
After church we went to my parent's house for lunch. Mom always outdoes herself with a feast and this year was no different. I failed to get a picture of everyone around the table.
After lunch we had an Easter Egg hunt. Here are all the kids. And please note - Cody, the 15-year-old, did not want to participate. So, now we know the official cut-off age for egg hunts!
The rest of the kids went at it. The eggs were stuffed with candy, change, and two were stuffed with dollars ($3 and $5). They had a hard time finding the $3 egg and after more than a hour, probably closer to two hours, gave up on the $5 egg. After the hunt I went through all the eggs and discovered that it had been found but not opened!

WIWS: The it's swealtering so let's be sure to put on a sweater edition. (Should have saved this one for a colder day!)
It's time for another edition of What I Wore Sunday. (I hope the ladies at Fine Linen and Purple haven't stopped doing the link up. They didn't have a link up last week and there isn't one up yet this week either but I'm forging ahead and doing it anyway! I'm such a rebel.)
I thought I'd give you a break from all the scarves and wow you with a sweater! But don't wory - I had a 30% coupon from Kohls and $10 Kohls cash so I got a few new ones that I'm sure I'll be sharing with you soon enough.
I was roasting in this sweater today at church. It's in the mid 70s here so a tee shirt and flip flops would have felt better but this looks much more appropriate, don't you think?
Details:
Shirt: Kohls, Chaps
Sweater: Kohls, Vera Wang
Pants: Kohls, Sonoma
Shoes: Kohls
Jewelry: Kohls (although you can't really see the necklace in this picture. It was a long strand with silver balls spaced along the strand.)
There's a funny man in every crowd! Have a great week folks!

WIWS:Put another scarf on it, please!!!
It's Sunday so let's do another round of What I Wore Sunday.
Deets:
Jacket - Walmart
Tee - Target
Pants - Kohls
Shoes - Target
Scarf - Kohls
If you remember what I wore two Sundays ago, you might think I'm wearing the exact same thing. But no! The only thing on the outfit that is the same is the blue pants....go check it out!
See - same concept but totally different outfit (except for the blue pants)!
And after yesterday, I have decided to buy more scarves. Why? Because I was out shopping with Sarah and was wearing blue jeans, a plain black tee shirt and a scarf. I bumped into some old friends from high school and was told that I looked very pulled together!
It must have been the scarf because I've worn a black tee and blue jeans many, many times before and have never ever been told I looked pulled together. And the best thing is that the scarf I was wearing at the time cost me less than $5.
So, I'm off to scour the internet in search of more $5 scarves!
Enjoy your Sunday and don't forget to head over to Fine Linen and Purple to see what the other ladies wore to Mass today!
Oh! And her's a bonus shot. The photographer took quite a few selfies juuuuuuuuuuust in case I decided to include one in this post! How could I say no to this cute face?

WIWS: Sometimes you just need a scarf to pull it all together!
Here's What I Wore Sunday!
Jacket - Kohls
Shirt - Target
Pants - Kohls
Scarf - Kohls
Boots - Target
No surprises here, folks. As usual, my entire outfit came from Kohls and Target. Geez, you would think they would send me a gift card or something!
I got these cute blue pants from Kohls a couple of weeks ago. They are a very soft cotton and so very cozy. They are like leggings but more substantial and not quite as tight.
The boots I have had for at least three years. I've been searching for a new pair but can't find any I like better than these. Either they are too blingy, the heel is too high, there are too many buckles, etc. So for now, I'll stick with these!
The yellow t-shirt is kind of thin and you can see through it so I made sure that everything important was covered up!
I was cleaning out my closet last week and found this scarf hanging under a pile of other scarves and got very excited. Once I saw it, I knew what I would be wearing to Mass today!
To see what everyone else was wearing, head on over to Fine Linen and Purple! And don't forget to link up your outfit too!

WIWS: The let them eat cake edition!
It may be Monday but let's do a little What I Wore Sunday.
Shirt: Kohl's
Pants: Target
Shoes: Kohl's
Necklace and Earrings: Kohl's
He loves to get into my WIWS photos.
Me and my old man!
Cute little earrings I got on the cheap at Kohl's.
I love this necklace and think I can get a lot of use out of it this fall. I was excited to see that it went perfectly with this old shirt from Kohl's!
We both celebrated our birthdays this weekend so when I call Dan "my old man" I mean it! And this cakes tastes as awesome as it looks! (And no, before you even ask, I did not make it. Allison from Candy Lane Cakes is the talented baker.)
Head over to Fine Linen and Purple to see what everyone else wore!

WIWS: Not the yellow wedges because they looked questionable.
It's Sunday and I know you guys are really wanting to know what I wore to Mass today.
Shirt: Kohl's
Pants: Kohl's
Sandals: Kohl's
Earrings: Kohl's
Necklace: Do I really need to type it again?
I feel like I must take a minute to discuss my sandals. These are not the sandals I wanted to wear with this outfit. I order a very cheap pair of yellow wedges online that I thought would look great with this outfit. However, upon receiving them, they are super high and the pants don't work with them. I think a tighter, longer pair of pants with a bit of flare at the ankle would work better than loose fitting shorter pants.
Sarah is very upset with me for not wearing them because according to her the yellow shoes would be "perfect" with this outfit. But take my word for it, with these pants, I would have just looked like an old lady in baggy pants with slutty yellow wedges walking down to receive communion. Not exactly the look I was going for. Thus, I stuck with the nude sandals.
With a different pair of pants and perhaps on date night (and not at Mass) , the yellow wedges will be perfect.

What I Wore Sunday: The suck it in, suck it waaaaaaay in edition.
It's been a while since I played along with What I Wore Sunday. As my husband snapped my picture he asked why.
Honestly, it's because I've just been wearing whatever fits...which isn't that much. And nobody wants to see the same black tee shirt and white pants week after week...even if it is spiffed up with a different accessory. (And since we are being honest, I usually don't even bother with an accessory.)
But this week, I wore an outfit that I bought at the beginning of spring hoping that as summer wore on, I might be able to wear in public.
Even though I'm still sporting 20 extra pounds, I decided to throw caution to the wind and a white shirt over the dress, hold in my stomach and call it good.
I even threw on an accessory.
And I felt like I looked pretty good at Mass today.
Details:
Maxi tank dress: Target
Shirt (that thankfully covers lots of sins: bulging belly, back fat, bra straps): Target
Sandals: Kohls
Necklace: Charming Charlies
And there you have it folks! Go check out what the other ladies were sporting today.

WIWS, Belly Shot, Update
I'm rolling a lot into one post:
WIWS (Linking up with Fine Linen and Purple)
Belly Shot
Update
WIWS:
Please excuse the overexposed shots. I still had my camera set for taking pictures in the gym at the kid's basketball games. And my little camera girl was in no mood to take extra pictures this morning.
Sweater: Kohl's (1/2 off!)
Pants: Kohl's
Boots: Target
Belly: Week 27 Day 6
Update:
Dan called me from work on Friday. It seems his mom had taken a turn for the worse and Hospice was expecting her to live only a few more days.
He had a business trip to Ireland planned for Monday and had to do some quick scrambling at work to get someone to fill in for him. While he was doing this, I got online and booked him a flight to Massachusetts and a rental car and started packing his bag.
When he got home from work that evening, the kids and I drove him to the airport.
And now we wait.
The kid's had basketball games yesterday so we went to those. And Peter had a sleepover scheduled for last night so we picked up his friends. We attended Mass this morning. And now Sarah has a friend over.
I am waiting for the phone call from Dan saying it is time to book tickets to join him in Massachusetts. At the same time, I am also expecting a call from him saying he is coming home because she continues to hang on.
When we first found out that his mom had Leukemia and had 6 months or less to live, one of the first things that popped into my head was the timing of it all.
What if she died at the same time I delivered Rebecca? What if there were two funerals scheduled at the same time and we were only able to make one? What if Dan was in Massachusetts and I went into labor and he wasn't here to be with me? What if I delivered Rebecca and she was hanging on and his mom passed away? Would he go up there and miss precious time with Rebecca or would he stay here and miss precious time with his Mom?
And then I stopped the questions and the worry and and laid it all at His feet. And I felt relief.
What better place to leave my worries about timing and my crazy pregnant lady what-ifs? Because, after all, He is the one in control of the beginnings and the endings. No amount of worry or planning on my part is going to change anything.
So I am trusting God's timing and not worrying because...

WIWS: New Year, New Boots!
It's cold here today. And raining. But I guess it could be worse...it could be snowing.

Belly: Week 25, Day 6
Photo bomb: My sweet and silly husband.
My mom got me these boots for Christmas. Aren't they the cutest? They have the same wedge heels as my little black booties (which I love and have basically worn out) but they are taller and help make my ever-expanding everything look a little less large.
The old booties accentuate my legs but these new ones detract a little from their size because they are taller. (Check out the link - same pants just with the old booties. Don't these new boots make my legs look a wee bit thinner? Although, nothing on this body could be described as thin at this point!)
And the curls? They are compliments of the new Conair Curl Secret that Santa brought Sarah.
Have a great week and try to stay warm! And for more What I Wore Sunday, head on over to Fine Linen and Purple.

WIWS: The not half bad edition.
Linking up at FLAP for another edition of What I Wore Sunday.
Here we go!
Pants: Motherhood
Boots: Target
Necklace: Target
I had a close up of the necklace but pride has prevented me from posting it. The neck wrinkles and the chest freckles (old age spots?) were more than I could bear!
Hope you all had a great long weekend.

WIWS: Edition Very Large Stripes
It's Sunday so I'm linking up at Fine Linen and Purple for another edition of What I Wore Sunday.
It was a gorgeous fall day yesterday. High in the upper 60s and sunny. Perfect fall weather. But thanks to a blast of Arctic wind from Canada it will only be in the low 30s today. And it's windy so it feels even colder.
There was no way I was standing outside for a picture so Sarah snapped these of me in my bedroom.
Shirt: Motherhood Maternity
Pants: Motherhood Maternity
Booties: Target
Necklace: Kohl's
And that's it folks. Nothing else to see here. So please step away from the blog and head on over to Fine Linen and Purple to see what everyone else wore to Mass today.

WIWS and S: A special twofer edition
Thank you for praying for my baby girl. Please keep praying. I have definitely felt more at peace and I know it's because of all of the prayers that are being said for us.
And because life goes on, even when you are waiting for test results, last night my husband and I attended the wedding reception of one of my best friends from college. It was a snazzy affair and I did the best I could to spiff up for the occasion. They don't really carry any cocktail dresses at our local Motherhood Maternity so I went with the best thing I could find.
Me and my girls! Don't they look hawt?!
There was a photo booth! So much fun! We even got our husbands to go in with us once.
And here's what I wore to Mass this morning:

In retrospect, I wish I had thrown on a red scarf and worn my red flats just to pep this outfit up a little bit. It could definitely use a little color. So, hang on, I'm sure you'll be seeing a spruced up version of this outfit on a future edition of WIWS

WIWS: This Boyfriend Sweater Makes Me Look Mannish So Let's Throw On Too Much Jewelry!
It was chilly this morning so I pulled out a boyfriend maternity sweater to wear. I wore it over the top of a blue button down shirt that I will probably not be able to wear in a week (or less) thanks to my ever-expanding belly. On the bottom, I wore my black skinny (ha!) jeans with my faithful booties.
I felt very manly in the boyfriend sweater - go figure - so I added a lot of jewelery. Probably, thus defeating the whole point of the boyfriend sweater. But I didn't want to look large AND manly so I went with large and feminine-ish.
Shirt: Lands' End
Sweater: Target
Pants: Motherhood Maternity
Booties: Target
Jewelry: Target/Kohls
Don't forget to stop by Fine Linen and Purple to see what everyone else sported to Mass this morning!
