She is thrilled and keeps saying she can't wait until Friday (when people start to arrive). My hope and prayer is that she is thrilled about receiving the Eucharist for the first time but I have a feeling it also has a little bit to do with the dress too.
I am about to wash sheets, run to the grocery store, clean toilets, etc., ect. so I am going to leave you with two shots of the kids taken at their last track meet. One of the fathers took pictures of each of the kid as they lined up at the start and were waiting for the gun to go off. The picture album he posted on Shutter Fly is basically 100 pictures very similar to the follow and it cracks me up - such intensity!

They certainly are intense!! That's awesome! Oh man, I am complaining enough just hosting a party for 1st Communion, I can't imagine prepping for house guests too. You get a medal!
We are having a similar event this weekend for Jacob. Sunday is baby dedication at our church. All the grandparents will be coming as well as some aunts and uncles. No house guests but I am cooking for 9 adults! Jacob will be the youngest baby! Hope Sarah enjoys her special day. I know you have been looking forward to this day for awhile.
Love the intensity of their expressions!
