What does this one mean?

Whenever I feel like I am not prepared for something, I have a recurring dream.

It is the first day of school and I have misplaced my class schedule. It is 5 minutes before class begins and I have no idea where I'm supposed to go.

Everyone around me is scurrying to class and while I am riffling through all of my books and notebooks trying to find the misplaced schedule.

But I never do. Relief from this nightmare only comes when the alarm finally goes off.

I also have an even more horrifying version. It is opening night of the school play and I have not memorized my lines - and I'm the lead! I spend the whole dream tying in vane to memorize my lines.

But I never do. Relief from this nightmare only comes when the alarm finally goes off.

I am not a dream interpreter but even I can figure out why I have those dreams. Clearly I am not prepared for something and I need to work harder to get ready for it.

Last night I had a horrible dream and unlike my recurring dream, I have no idea what this one could possibly mean.

I dreamed my friend Tanya and I were watching my wedding video and while we were watching it, I realized that I was wearing black Aerosoles pumps with my wedding dress!

I was horrified!

I kept saying over and over, "You were my Maid of Honor! Why didn't you tell me I was wearing BLACK AEROSOLES PUMPS with my WHITE WEDDING DRESS?"

You can only imagine my relief with the alarm finally went off this morning!

So if any of you are dream interpreters or have a copy of "Your Dreams and What They Mean", please feel free to help me out with this one.

Oh, and one more thing. The whole reason that my friend was over at my house in the first place was because all of my eyelashes were falling out and she was going to help me put on fake ones!

I think I liked it better when I was trying to memorize my lines.

ouch! that was a bad one i guess...eyelashes and black shoes? is it possible that many un-related dreams got mixed up??

It happens to me all the time. I dream of things 'unsaid' or 'unspoken' that needs to get out of my system.

but in ur case...its hard to tell...
1. eyelashes?...u need to take care of yourself too?
2. ur friend being there...means u needed help and u could count on her...for company?
3. wedding dress...means...important day!

black pumps?..god wants u to look after ur own self w/o relying on others for help??maybe in the long run it wil be better for u that way?

these are just my random interpretations....not from any book.
i do such self-analysis on my dreams too!

sorry..i hope someone can help u more!

but sometimes its best to get past it and not read too much into a weird dream!

I would take it as a sign to shop for shoes. Of course, I take almost everything as a sign to shop for shoes!

I realized when I sat down in Sunday School a few weeks ago that I had slipped on my not-so-nice brown sandals instead of the intended ones that were sitting right next to those. We live nearby, so after tucking my feet under the chair the whole time, I ran home to change between Sunday School and Worship. Silly, I know. I must have been in a hurry, as usual.

I remember having the same dream in jr. high and high school for several nights before the first day of school each year. I could never find my schedule and I couldn't remember my locker combination. I hated that feeling and I still remember what it feels like when I think of those dreams.

Hope you get an interpretation...

I have the dream where it's finals & I forgot to go to the class for the whole semester! I think those types of dreams have something to do with you feeing unprepared about some part of life.....no expert, but it seems like I heard that once!

I have dreams like that too - I'm in high school and can't find my class or can't find my schedule so I don't know what class to go to. Another one I have is work related. I'm taking care of patients and suddenly I realize it's noon and I haven't even started on my 8:00am meds! I'll be interested if you get an interpretation.

We dream in symbols and in order to figure out the message they are sending you will need to interpret the symbols and decide what they mean in your life. For example, think of the black shoes and write down the first words that pop into your mind. Then go on to the others, i.e., wedding dress, eyelashes, friend.

That is how I have been able to interpret some of the vivid dreams I've had. The important thing is to not think and rethink your word associations--just those that pop into your mind.

Good luck.

Last night I kept having a dream that I was repeatedly falling down stairs while I was trying to get to my car. You see it was very important to get to my car because it had a flat tire. Why I kept falling and somehow returning to the TOP of the stairs I do not know! I was thankful to wake up too!

Mama Zen stole my answer. I say it is a sign that you need to go shoe shopping as soon as possible.

Haha, I've had similar school ones. That I've skipped class so much I forgot what class I had (not too far from the truth sadly) & can't remember my locker combo.
Can't help you on the shoes though :)

I always had dreams that I forgot where my locker was or I forgot the combination. So glad that stage of my life has passed. Sorry I couldn't help more. But I do have to ask...why on earth are your eyelashes falling out?

Oh goodness I hate dreams like that, where you are panicking so much. Have no clue what the interpretation is for any of them but hope whatever it is passes soon so you can have more lovely peaceful slumber.

I always had the forgot-to-wear-important-article-of-clothing-like-shirt-or-pants dreams. I still have them. Maybe it means I need new clothes? Maybe it means I have supressed desires to join a nudist colony? Not sure...

I am SO often relieved to wake up. It's like I have a whole separate life, full of anxiety, when I sleep.

I do believe that anxiety triggers dreams, but I am not convinced that the majority of our dreams mean anything. I think they are not meant to mean anything - that they are refuge from the reality of our lives - like watching a movie to relax. That's just what I think.

Have a good evening and no more bad dreams. Kellan

I dream like crazy too. Last night I dreampt (is that a word?lol) that I was hosting my son's 6th birthday party (which is on the 25th of September) and I realized I had nothing for it. No cake, no presents, no goody bags or games or anything. I woke up feeling physically ill. Thank goodness I still have 3 weeks!

I don't dream much, but when I do it's usually b/c I have a lot on my mind or I'm overwhelmed. I would TOTALLY have the shoe/wedding dress dream. hehe. I take it to mean....oh no I dotted every i and crossed every t and HOW in the world did this happen????? =)

Oh...aren't you so very glad to wake up from those dreams to find that they are not real. Have you ever woken up and you don't know if it is real or you dreamed it! Now that is scary!

I always dream that my teeth are falling out! See? It could be much worse than wearing black aerosoles with a wedding dress! :)

That is so funny! My recurring dream is the one where I am in a play or production and can't remember my lines. I am usually searching for a copy of the script so I can read it but can't find one anywhere. The crazy thing is that many times I only have one line that I can't remember. Maybe this stems from my almost daily searches for something around the house - that the kids or I have misplaced. Of course with my youngest not sleeping well I don't know when I even have time to dream!
