My husband travels frequently for business. When he is away on a trip he is usually gone for about 4 nights at a time.
In May, he had a trip that kept him away for 2 weeks.
It was a long, long two weeks for me. But I got through it with the knowledge that he would be coming home soon.
Today I am asking you guys to join me in praying for Angie. Her husband won't be coming home.
Brian is in heaven resting with the Lord after a 12 year battle with cancer.
And now Angie is struggling with all of the activities of day-to-day living that come as she adjusts to life without Brian.
As you are cooking dinner, while you are cleaning, when you are paying bills, as you are driving your kids from activity to activity and thinking to yourself, "I can't wait until my husband gets home", please pray for Angie.
She needs the strength, peace, rest and comfort that only come through the Lord.
Cast your cares on the LORD and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous fall. - Psalm 55:22
Please take a minute and head over to her blog to let her know that you are praying for her.
If you want to share a miracle, an answered prayer or even a prayer request, it's easy. Write a post on your blog and leave the link to the post (not the link to your main page) here with Mr. Linky. And be sure to mention my blog and URL in your post.

Thanks for sharing this, I will head over to her blog now...
Such a good reminder to be thankful for what we have. I will pray for her.
You are sweet and a good friend to her. Blessings to you too!
That is so difficult. A young husband/father that lives 4 houses down from us passed away two weeks ago after a long battle with cancer.
I will be praying for Angie
My heart breaks for Angie. There are so many times that I'm reading her blog and keep thinking, okay, joke's over, come home now Brian, make Angie smile again. If I, a nearly complete stranger am thinking things like that, I cannot imagine what Angie is going through. She is definitely in my prayers.
