Summer vacation officially started for us yesterday when Peter's school let out at 12:00.
We were at the swimming pool by 1:00.
We were home by 4:30.
And by 5:30 both kids let me know that they were bored.
I think it's going to be a looooooooong summer.

LOL, I know what you mean.....mine are telling me there's nothing to do...while whining....ummm, hello, rooms full of toys....huge yard to play in???
That sounds like our kids. The first day that they got out of school, we went to the beach and had a bbq, and instead of saying "that was fun" when we got home, they said "what are we going to do tommorrow?". Kids. :)
Don't even get me started! I knew how bad this was going to be based on those snow days we had. Come on end of August!
Welcome to summer vacation :-)
I stopped by Mari's blog to say hello. Nice to meet you!
lol
I played a game of tag with your blog. You dont have to play but it was fun. Check it out when you get a chance
I know what you mean. We have been swimming, to the movies, the park, finger painted, baseball, baseball, did I mention baseball? And still they are bored. At least this week R4 is at the lake with my in-laws and he is having the time of his life!
I'm sure there are all manner of chores and housework you could help them be not-bored with. ;) Rule at my Grama's (and really with my mom) is that if you're bored you get to do work. I bet they'll be un-bored real quick once they catch on ;)
