Shhhh...don't tell her that!

Today I will be taking 6 kids to Chuck E Cheese.

Why, you ask, would a perfectly sane woman be taking six children to Chuck E. Cheese?  Simple. Because in May, Sarah asked if we could go to Chuck E. Cheese this summer and since "this summer" seemed so vague and distant way back in May, I brightly said, "Sure!"

And here we are with only a few days until school starts and we haven't been yet.  And Sarah keeps reminding me.  So we are going since I said we would way back in May.

Sarah is very sly though.  She keeps pointing to the picture on the refrigerator of the two of us last summer at Chuck E. Cheese and keeps saying, "Don't you just love that picture?  Don't you want to get another one made this summer?"

And of course I do love the picture.  I love that it's in pencil so it looks timeless and my crow's feet don't show (as much).  I love that it's just the two of us.  I love that we both look happy.  I love that she wanted to be crammed into the little photo booth with me.  And I guess, I just love her.

So we will be squeezing in the booth at Chuck E. Cheese today for another picture.  And quite honestly, as long as she keeps wanting to squeeze in the booth with me for a pencil drawing, I'll keep going.  (But shhhh....don't tell her that!)

August 6, 2010.  If all goes well, I'll have another one to add to the collection this afternoon.

You are a brave lady....6 kids....at ChuckECheese....on a Friday....bless your heart.

But your kids will love you for it and they will look back on their childhood and remember when their Momma did fun things with them.

Have fun!
