Dan had to wrap up some work in the office on Friday morning. He picked me up from the hotel, we had lunch and then he had one more conference call and then we headed from Newcastle/Kilkeel across the country to Ennis where we would be staying until Sunday.
We stopped in Trim and visited
the Trim Castle. Construction started on this castle in 1172 and it remains Ireland's largest Anglo-Norman castle. Several scenes from Mel Gibson's Braveheart were filmed around this castle.

After we left Trim Castle we continued on to Ennis where we checked in to our hotel
The Temple Gate.
And it probably doesn't seem like we did very much on Day 4, but keep in mind we drove across the country! Of course, that only took us about 2 and a half hours, but still!

Can I just say that I'm getting a bit jealous now? What a cool place to visit!
