Did you know that at Chick-Fil-A, if your kids don't want the toy that comes in their Kid's Meal, they can turn it for a FREE kid's sized ice cream cone? Free ice cream!
I just found that out last week. Why did I not already know that?
We have a new Chick-Fil-A in our area and at our last two visits we have swapped unwanted (and unopened - I think this is a requirement) toys for ice cream! How cool is that?
Now if only McDonald's would do the same. Think of all of that cheap plastic we could keep out of the land fills.

Someone in MOPS shared that fact w/ me a couple of years ago. Isn't it great they do that?! For toys from other places, my SIL is a teacher asst. at the school Anna will attend. Her class accepts new and opened toys like that. I think they use them for rewards at the end of each week. I've got a bag full to give her now and I can pass on any that you accumulate too.
i did know that...i'm surprised that i know that!
We have no Chik-Fil_A near us, and I've never had the chance to eat there. May be someday!
That's a fun new fact! Although, I take all the kids meal toys Quinn earns to school for prizes for our reading program. Every once in a while I let him keep a toy, but most of the time the toy is not appropriate for him. No matter how many times I say he is under 3. Anyway...now I know what we will do next time we go to Chick-fil-A!
I didn't know that! WOW! How cool is that?
I never knew! Thanks!
Do what? Thanks for telling me!
(If you are looking for something else to do with unopened meal toys, they make great additions to Operation Christmas Child boxes too!)
Yes! I love that they do that!
I thought everyone knew that. Most of the time my boys trade in their toy. And by the way the kitten is to cute!
Love me some chick-fil-a & they're fabulous toy deal. Makes me crave a chicken sandwich w/ polynesian sauce - YUM!
