I think my husband likes his coffee too strong.
He thinks I like my coffee too weak.
So either I have to make two pots of coffee each morning or I have to compromise and make a pot that neither one of us likes. I usually choose the compromise pot leaving both of us a little unhappy with our morning Joe.
But I may have found the solution to our problem.
Gayle over at The Grocery Cart Challenge is giving away a Keurig coffee pot and coffee worth $250. The beauty of this coffee pot is that it brews one cup at a time.
Imagine that! My husband and I could both be happy with our coffee in the morning if we had this thing.
So head on over to Gayle's and enter for your chance to win.
Or don't - because if you don't enter that means my chances are better.
And while you are there check out Gayles great blog. She is feeding a family of 6 on $60 a week.
I just got back from Wal-Mart and Aldi's and I was nowhere near $60 and I only have 4 mouths to feed! I have already subscribed to Gayle's blog so even if I don't with the coffee pot, maybe I can at least learn a few things from her.

We have the exact same problem in our house. I can never figure out why most men like such strong coffee.
That's a great giveaway! $60/week for a family of six? Amazing!
Cool. I hope you win that coffee pot!! :)
that would be cool- and could poss save some couples from divorce (lol)
A family of six eats for $60 a week? What do they eat - grass? I gotta head over there.
My hubby doesn't drink coffee so I dont have to worry about it! good luck with the contest, I hope you win. Found you through Rebekah's blog, I will be back!
Some weeks I can manage to feed the five of us for about $60, but it really pushin it. I can't complain now, I need to save it for a few years when I have 3 teenage boys!!!! Scary.
Several people I know have this exact coffe maker and love it. I however hate the taste of coffee but I do love the smell.
Awesome giveaway.
I don't like coffee, so I hope you could win this. lol.
good luck Beth!
i have got to check that out! we are 6 on $180 for 2 weeks, so $90 a week, and i feel tight/comfortable with that...i think this all has to do with preferences too, right? ie, we never eat anything premade, or that isn't homemade...which can save money, but also be more expensive...you know? i'm excited to see what she does! :)

You can have my slot in the giveaway, I don't drink coffee. But I'm definitely checking out her budgeting and spending secrets. Imagine what I could do with that for feeding just me.
