And all the people said, "AMEN!" Well, only me, but still..

Can you hear it where you are??

If not, please hit play because this is what I heard today when I finally FINISHED and E-FILED our taxes!!!

And with that, I can begin my weekend. And it's a fairly calm one but you know that's exactly how I like them.

Peter had a track meet last night and has another one tonight.  He is less than enthused about the one tonight because it is going to take FOREVER - it will include every high school in Forsyth County 1-4A AND it's raining.

I will be dropping him off at the track meet after I pick him up from school.  For some reason, even though the school is roughly 30 minutes away from his school, it is considered a home meet (I am grudgingly assuming it's because it's in the same county) and there is no bus service.  Can you tell I'm a little bit annoyed by this? Because I am.

Anyway, I will not be sitting on the wet bleachers for 4 hours watching my child run for 30 seconds total - that will be Dan.  However, I would like to note that he will most likely take his time getting there from work so he also doesn't have to sit there for 4 hours.  I don't blame him.

Here are a couple of pics from last night:

And look at my tulips:

It may be raining today but they are a nice pop of color outside my window.

I hope everyone has a great weekend!

I love your tulips! Spring is taking it's time here but soon they will bloom!! I would be less than excited about the track meet in the rain too. Kudos to Dan for his willingness to get wet!

And YAY taxes! (With time to spare!)

My son runs track too, but he's distance. I joked that last week I drove our other four kids three hours to watch a five minute race. (Mile) the things we do for our kids. Ha

Hooray for finishing taxes. I love the Hallelujah chorus, and I also love - And all the people said Amen. :)
Quit tormenting me with tulips! Or crocus aren't even up yet!

Congrats on the taxes! I just gathered most of my docs and dropped them at my BFF who is also our accountant. Amen to that! Having kids opt to play indoor sports- can I get an amen on that?!

Yay for the taxes! Great pictures from the track meet. What does he run? Nicolas runs the mile and two mile. He is a long distance runner...he did not get that from Ray or I.
