I think that ...You're not doing anything wrong! I think that all girls ask the same question at one point or another. Society tells us that we have to be "perfect", and that if we have even a little bit of fat on us, we're not "perfect". It really is unfortunate that now we have children at such a young age thinking that they are fat. Just keep doing what you're doing, Beth. Just keep telling her how perfect and beautiful she is just the way she is!!Robin hill farm https://www.blogger.com/profile/02160974033803624512noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6080789300460674006.post-23063435864041652712009-09-12T03:37:41.910-04:002009-09-12T03:37:41.910-04:00Amen, amen.Amen, amen.Denisehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09275456448997619944noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6080789300460674006.post-27442447977547140752009-09-11T21:37:50.494-04:002009-09-11T21:37:50.494-04:00It is a fine line. My mom even saw behavioral changes when my brother read a particular book series starring a bratty, unpleasant child. Even he agreed that he needed to not read those books anymore.

You are modeling healthy exercise for her. I think it is great to show her how to do that, especially since you are focusing on the health part of it.Jainahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05666481569069955190noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6080789300460674006.post-10915579032030252022009-09-11T17:11:46.126-04:002009-09-11T17:11:46.126-04:00You just keep telling her what you are telling her...You just keep telling her what you are telling her!RR Mamahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02180100343784111284noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6080789300460674006.post-19833179421940640122009-09-11T13:03:51.556-04:002009-09-11T13:03:51.556-04:00my dd is the same way too. its very sad. she start...my dd is the same way too. its very sad. she started talking about getting fat around age 7. Now a days there are many kids who are over weight, my kids are not over weight however, but because of the ones who are society is really pushing kids to exercise and watch calories. I just had to discuss with my kids that just because you eat a treat it doesn't necessarily mean you will get fat, we need to exercise too. (although, maybe mommy should be exercising...... you look great Beth!)Annikkehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05267370658109989635noreply@blogger.com
