I can answer "yes" to this question. Can you?

Do you know what it's like to be awoken at 2:42 a.m. to the sound of the next door neighbor's Beagle puppy howling at the moon?

Well, I do.

And I'm not happy about it.

The howling seemed to go on all night but I'm sure it was just 5 minutes or so - the amount of time they had the dog out to go to the bathroom. However, I was never able to really go back to sleep.

I tossed and turned for the rest of the night vowing my revenge on a cute little puppy named Bruno.

I'm off to make more coffee and Google "how to get the neighbor's puppy to stop howling at 2:42 a.m."

I actually know exactly what you are talking about. My neighbor's dog howls half the night every night. Drives me bonkers.

Good luck with your neighbors's puppy.

And it won't be long until the "cute" is dropped and Bruno becomes just a howling ole dog!! Best of luck with that! :)

Let me know what you find out. The other night the neighbors cats were fighting and it sounded as if they were right by my bedroom window. Funny part of that is they were in my front yard. We found fur the next morning! Have a great weekend!!

We used to live next door to folks with two dogs. They let them out at all hours to make noise and wake the neighborhood:P I'm glad we moved:)

Just one of the many reasons that I don't like dogs.

Fortunately, I have never experienced this. One of my really good friends has and she tried talking to the neighbors and then ended up having to call the animal control. After she called animal control the barking in the middle of the night stopped.

I really hate that. Just wait until, next he will be pooping in your yard.

Ewww. That's no fun at all. I hope it was a one time occurrence.

Fortunately, none of the neighbors have outside dogs that close to me. But, freight trains go through through the night, on tracks located about a 1/4 of a mile away. Again, fortunately, I sleep through when they go by, blowing that loud horn.

I am a lucky one!
