I have a lock so why don't I use it?

I was just stepping into the shower as Sarah barged into the bathroom.

She paused briefly and said, "Don't worry, I won't laugh."

"Laugh at what?" I asked a little perturbed because I knew what she meant.

"Oh, um, never mind."

Guess I'll remember to lock the bathroom door next time!
