Honey, the 1970's called. They want their skin cancer back.

"Stop using so much sunscreen on the kids. It's the end of July and the kids look too pale."

Yes. My husband actually said this to me last week.

I know! I couldn't believe it either.

  1. What?!?!? Can we all gang up on him?
All I can say is your doing a good job Mom! Keep 'em lathered up. They'll thank you when they are older and have healthy skin.
    Smiles!

  3. But there are studies showing that kids are not getting enough Vitamin D - too much sunscreen is one of the reasons. Darned if you do, darned if you don't...

  5. No way...I didn't put enough sunscreen on hubs back at the beach and almost a month later he still looks like a striped zebra on his back. It does not look so good.

  7. LOL!!! That is pretty funny... I have to admit we were out by my mom's pool this morning and the sun came out, out of nowhere. I thought about running inside to grab the sunscreen... then thought, Nah... an hour won't kill them... they need the color! Don't call CPS on me!

  9. So funny! I have one child that browns like me and one that burns like Hubs. But when the fair childs skin turns tan...he is oh so cute, in a child surfer kinda way.
