It was only out there two and a half days before I noticed...

On Tuesday morning, I purchased a new Dwarf Alberta Spruce to replace the one that died.

I went out to the front porch last night to check to see if a package I was expecting had been delivered.

There was no package waiting but as I was admiring my new green evergreen, I noticed something blowing in the breeze.

Take a closer look.

Minnie Pearl would be so proud.

  2. I have that problem with my entire life. Seriously. I leave tags on everything until Brian usually finds them, sometimes MONTHS later.

    KEEP BELIEVING

  3. I went to help out at school a few years ago and was told the the size sticker was still stuck down the side of my jeans. It was one of those long ones, that repeats the size over and over again. Aaagh!
PS - those planters are just gorgeous!

  10. ROFL! I have a confession, and it's a total coincidence. But I also planted a spruce tree in my backyard during summer. The tag is still there :)

  11. That is so funny! I can't tell you how many times I've done that!

  12. I purposefully leave the tag on- so I don't forget how to care for the plant (and end up killing it)

  13. I'm obsessive about removing tags as soon as I get in the house after too many embarrassing moments!

  14. Too funny! I guess I have the opposite problem.. sometimes I remove the tag too soon and need it for reference or returning etc. lol

I've been a lurker for a while now and saw your recipe for the pizza crust...we tried it out tonight. It was a hit! Thanks!

  15. Well, I love your entry. Very inviting. It even looks nice with the tag left on the the new tree. :)

  18. That is hilarious! If you look closely at my landscaping post from the other day, you'll see I did the same thing too! There was one hanging on the rose bush - pretty obvious - but since I thought I had cut one off already, I didn't look for another one! Too funny!
PS- Thanks for checking out my blog!
