My kids don't have preschool on Friday mornings so they get to sleep in. After Peter woke up, he looked around and asked where Daddy was. I reminded him that it was Friday and Daddy was at work. And then Peter had this brilliant idea:
"Mommy, I wish Daddy didn't have to go to work. I wish I could play games all day long on the computer and I wish that every time I won, money would fall out of the sides of the computer. We would have sooooooooooo much money that Daddy wouldn't have to go to work ever again and I could buy any Bionicle I wanted! Wouldn't that be a cool computer to have?"
Remind me to keep this boy away from Vegas!

Ha! Ha! Ha!
ReplyDeleteI just almost tinkled in my pants a little!
I wonder if that's how slot machines were invented in the first place !?!
ReplyDeleteAny Bionicle he wants ! I love that.
Did he just describe the perfect slot machine??
ReplyDeleteFunny :)

You have to admit, it would be a pretty cool computer!
ReplyDeleteThis is so funny. My 5 year-old always asks if my husband can just retire. He knows that is what my father did - retired. I think he has a ways to go, but it would be great! Have a wonderful day.
ReplyDeleteAnd imagine if every time we blogged, money fell out of the sides of the computer!!!!! Ohhhh...we'd be happy, rich moms!
ReplyDeleteToo, too funny. Ah, the mind of a child. :)
ReplyDeleteI'd like a computer like that!
ReplyDeleteAt least he has a plan!
ReplyDeleteSign me up for one of those computers!
ReplyDeleteOh my word. that is hilarious. :)
ReplyDeleteYou have one brilliant boy. I want one, too!!!!
ReplyDeleteMy oldest is like that too. Always thinking he is going to win the contest on the yogurt or the money on the billboard charting the lottery. Wish he was right!
ReplyDeleteWhat a funny kid. I love it. :)
ReplyDeleteThat is too cute!!!

ReplyDeleteHee! There are $$ in his eyes!!
ReplyDeleteThat's too funny! Yes, I'd keep him away from Vegas!
ReplyDeleteThat's hilarious, but I must admit I wouldn't mind having a computer like that either.
